Headway

Yesterday was more productive, in spite of feeling just a little under the weather. (What does that mean? What kind of weather? Am I under a tree, getting out of the rain? Or am I a tad less than sunny?) I was slightly faint or dizzy a couple of times but I think it was a sinus issue. I'm choosing to believe it's not anything more serious, likewise the digestive complaints I've been suffering for several weeks. Rose suggested I go off gluten again for a couple of weeks and see if that clears things up. I think I ought to meditate more.

But I was talking about being productive. I finally made headway on my website, and though it's far from done, I figured out the home page issues and began organizing the page heirarchy, wrote my main blurb about Celebrancy. I also outlined Carol's and my ceremony for next month, we talked at some length about it in the evening, and another draft is in the works.

See, it's not all so scary after all.

Tomorrow I go to dinner with a new friend, a wonderful Wiccan African-American who leads drum circles and does healing work and whose husband's last name is an animal. We're going to try to come up with a dream-related ceremony for late summer so I can get a big article in this holistic mag whose Fall theme is dreams. Not only is this cool, but it might be a road into cultivating a real women's circle in my life.

Today I head to Chris's house -- Carol is doing a workshop this week so isn't available -- and we'll try to record some.

I had a terrible night's sleep. Chills as I was falling asleep -- and not even any night sweats to bring them on. I didn't feel sick, and the room wasn't cold. My body just didn't know how to warm itself. Later in the night, sweats anyway. I'm going back on the Black Cohosh. I got away without it last summer, but times apparently are different now.
