1:05 a.m.

Dinner and company at my sister's... lobster, shrimp-stuffed baked potatoes, chinese slaw, and some kind of amazing carrots. And Mississippi Mud Cake with ice cream. It was a blowout, and after a movie my friend had to leave, but my sister and I went through two large boxes of mom and dad's photos, sorting, tossing, divvying up. It was tiring but pretty cool. We found a lot of information about dad's relatives, so I hope to put together a clearer picture of his side of the family, since I didn't know any of them.

I got a message from Will, saying he hadn't stayed in the hospital, but was able to go home and was feeling marginally better. More tests and consultation tomorrow. I'm so glad he got to have Christmas at home, at least.

I'm back on this really late schedule that I hate. I'm just too wound up to go to sleep. My bandmates got me a huge wine encyclopedia, the rest of my grammar books came (I'm really excited about "The Transitive Vampire") and I've got runaway munchies even after that huge feast we had. Hm.
